At the beginning of 1956, the original Ministry of Light Industry prepared to construct Guangdong Flower Factory and directly took the control of it.
After formally putting into production in May 1957, the factory denominated as Guangzhou Flower Lixiviating Factory, and led by the Ministry of Food Industry.
Guangzhou Flower Lixiviating Factory renamed as State-owned Guangzhou Baihua Flavors and Fragrances Factory in July 1957, and led by the Ministry of Light Industry.
Guangzhou Baihua Flavours and Fragrances Factory was a member of Guangzhou Light Industry Bureau in April 1958. In November 1961, it was led by The Guangzhou Food Industry Bureau. In June 1965, our factory was led by Guangzhou Commodity Industry Company.
Due to the Great Cultural Revolution, Guangzhou Baihua Flavours and Fragrances Factory changed its name to Guangzhou Flavours and Fragrances Factory in February 1967.
After the comeback of the Guangzhou Commodity Industry Company in December 1973, Guangzhou Flavor and Fragrance Factory was directly led by Guangzhou Commodity Industry Company.
In July 1983, in order to meet the requirement of new period, we resumed the name as Guangzhou Baihua Flavours and Fragrances Factory. After the merger of Guangzhou Commodity Industry Company and the Guangzhou Glass Industry Company in November 1986, Guangzhou Baihua Flavours and Fragrances Factory was led by Guangzhou Light Industry Bureau.
In June 1993,approved by Guangzhou Economy System Innovation Committee, Guangzhou Baihua Flavours and Fragrances Factory reorganized as Guangzhou Baihua Flavours and Fragrances Co,. Ltd., and was led by Guangzhou Light Industry Bureau (renamed as Guangzhou Light Industry Group Co., Ltd. in October 1996.).
